My identity is a mixture of two cultures. Despite my native country’s shortcomings, I owe a lot that I have achieved, to its atmosphere, simple and kind people, to the "poetry in colours and shapes" of Marc Chagall, who was born in Vitebsk, a place he has never really left. His generous spirit is very much alive and continues to hover over this incredible city - the true school of my art...

My works, if viewed from distance, appear almost as if they are realistic -you can see a stripe of sky or full moon while at the same time they are abstract. When you look more closely, one sees just strips of newspapers on canvas highlighted by either bright colors or hardened strokes of acrylic paint. Because I'm continually inspired from nature, I seek to send a clear message and my intention with my art is to inspire others to recycle whenever possible and promote sustainable living.

Working in acrylics on canvas I use waste in the form of using discarded papers. This means that I am reflecting the problems of contemporary life, by showing how they can be examined through an artist's practices and promoting alternatives to landfill and incineration. In this regard I have definitely found a key to a personal style and vision. One can easily distinguish my works by their bright color, multilayered texture and cheerful mood. Using a wide color scale in my works I would like to show everybody how through the use of color it is possible to adjust the right energy to your style of living and thereby surround yourself with harmony and balance!

Reflecting in my paintings those beautiful things that exist around me, I want everyone to remember that the world is astonishing and together we can ensure that it will remain that way.

My art is rich with vibrant colors and it is similar to the Fauves, but the elements of the rare powers of feminine charm and charisma endowed with my works is uniquely my own.
